I am a retired physician living in Denver, Colorado. I grew up in Huntington Beach, California and spent summers at the beach. I graduated from UCLA School of Medicine and began my career as a physician in diagnostic radiology. Photography became my creative outlet and way of relaxing. My artistic inspiration comes from the beauty of nature.

Hi Debra, I'm impressed with your photographs and am intrigued by your use of the painter effect in many of them. I think you have a good sense for where and when to use it as well as a good sense for restraint. Post processing should not be the first thing noticed in a work. In fact, I think in a couple of your submissions - "Venice Romance" being one of them - you transcend both photography and painting with your gifted touch. I look forward to enjoying more of your work!
