Kristin thanks a lot!!! yes, it is really helpful! I am going to but the Canon EF Macro 100mm f2.8 which is just Usm .... I see that there are two variants Macro 100mm f2.8 Usm and Macro 100mm f2.8 IS Usm that is more expensive...As for the light I will try with full sunlight first as you advised. Thank you again, you are very kind.:)!!

I need to take high quality macro photos of the plants but that is a problem for me. I have Canon EOS 40D which I got from my friends but it looks like I need a new lens. Thank you!
