Hi Zhi! I think you made the right choice with the foil. And although I like purple best, I would go with blue since that seems to be the crowdpleaser and the crowd votes! And if it wins I would totally offer the purple as an alternative colorway-- it would be interesting to see how purple fares in the general population. And thank you for the like on my Year in Adventures-- it's the first thing I have designed that I LOVE (and I've only been using Illustrator for three months, so it's hard to love anything I make, haha). Best of luck in the holiday challenges, your collection was AWESOME!

Hi Zhi Ling :) I ended up going with a totally different photograph in my Holly & Pine design, which I think solves the conflict between those two other photo choices! If you have the chance, I'd love for you to take another look at the design :) Thank you for defying the norm & voting the way you did: it pushed me to look a little harder for another photo! Zhi, I just wanted to let you know that the comment you made on my Downtown Abbey was not taken in a negative way by me. You passed your opinion on that design & maybe you're right/may be not. I was over-worked on that design & ( if you noticed ) that's not my style,I wanted to try a vintage type style for my own learning & betterment,so that design was a guinea pig in itself! We all come from different backgrounds & as far as I'm concerned,I'm a formally trained graphic designer but due to motherhood I've been away from my passion for 10 years now & designing at Minted is like starting from scratch. Thank you & my apologies if I ever gave you a wrong impression of any kind :) x
