Minted introduced me to the world of stationery and I've been hooked ever since. My passion lies in marrying old with new—creating something with both a vintage flair and a modern twist.

Hi Katie, you're welcome. The letterpress printing process is tricky, understanding how to use it well is throwing us all of our normal pace. I miss the use of the die-cut shapes for this challenge. Cheers, Robin

Thank you Katie for the nice comment! It really made my day :)
Hey Katie! Thank you for the huge help with my design! I'm so glad you pointed that out, because the design changed from my original idea, but I didn't realize it until you mentioned it. I think the design now needs to change to landscape, but can you just look at it to see if you like the text now? Thanks!!
lol, no - I don't think you killed it. I really like the new font, I don't think I've ever seen it before. I also liked emmascript too - it fit with the border so nicely. That design was such a puzzle - but I think you finished it up well. :)
Hey Katie, I hear ya. And typically yes it is frowned upon but I recently had the same dilemma with my boyish and girlie label designs because they are not simply alternate color ways of each other but some of the design elements (albeit small) are not identical. And I think in this particular challenge where the sex is such a big deal it would be ok. That's my 2 cents, hope it helps.
I'm so behind on getting back to everyone but I just really wanted to say thank you for your sweet message Katie! I felt so nervous on video but it is so nice to know that others enjoyed seeing it. I always love seeing your work as you are so talented and your kind words really meant a lot to me!
Thanks Katie, I actually started that way on hollywood love story and planned on having that as one of the alternate colorways. I'll do one up and attach so people can see it :)
Katie, you're so nice... thank you. I admire your work, so it means a lot to me. Your "Joyful Wreath" is in my top 10 favourites. Best of luck. :)
Thanks right back! :)

Congrats on TWO designs in the top ten- awesome!!
Congratulations Katie! Cupid's Arrow was one of my favorite designs in the minibook challenge.
Congrats Katie, WOO HOO two designs in the top ten... way to go :D
Katie, thank you for your comment (re: simple waves)! So sweet of you. Last night when I uploaded the last version I was wondering if I should even bother...hahaha
Sorry to make you worry! ;) I've just always been told that a design should be well within the .25" safety zone. When a design is trimmed the cutter margin is usually .125" so if your border is only .125" then it could be a problem. I've also had borders in the safety zone that were trimmed slightly off and made the piece unusable, so that's why I try not to use them.
Hi Katie! No problem... .25" or larger is best and it should be well within the .25" safety zone. Personally I try to stay away from borders because there is too much room for error when it's trimmed. Really like your designs, btw. :)
Thanks Katie for your sweet comments.. I can't wait to see your designs :)
Hi Katie... yeah I guess it would be a far trip to NYC. Hopefully you can make it... I love to meet you.
Hi Katie... are you going to the NYC meet up? BTW... your minibook submissions were awesome :)
Thanks for your comments on Carnival. I created a new version of it, Marquee, and am now torn between the two. I've come to realize that stationery design is a lot more challenging than it looks!
Hi Katie! Thanks for leaving the comment on my site - always excited to get positive feedback as well :) You have such a great style, I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
