Anybody can plan weird; that’s easy. What’s hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity.” -- Charles Mingus

Please upload a hand-written image of your full name (first and last) on a 100% transparent background. Thank you for supporting an independent artist by purchasing stationery from Minted. I hope this design will help you create joyful memories and remind you of them for years to come. I had a wonderful time designing this piece, and I hope that you have an equally enjoyable time writing on it and sharing it. Cheers!

Dear Customer,
From,
Hi Betta, Thank you so much for your comment! You got it! I was wondering what I didn't like about the invitation! Thank you again! Maria
Thanks, Betta - I appreciate your response :) Good luck to you in the challenge!
Hi Betta - I was just browsing submissions for the holiday invite challenge and came across your Silver Bell design, which is super adorable, but then I realized the wording I used in my submission is very similar to yours. I hadn't see yours before submitting/creating mine (which had been a work in progress for awhile), but now I feel badly that the wording is so close (although the designs are totally different!). Let me know if you would prefer if I changed mine, since yours was submitted first.
Indeed - yay us!!! :-)
and, of course, I like Big Bang, too! I agree - the winner announcements always have some surprises...tough to predict!
Congrats on you Big Bang pick! I still like Mittens...
BTW, I'm totally rooting for your Mittens and City of Lights designs - both awesome!
Thank you, Betta, for your nice note and for sharing your personal experience about special prizes that were not Editor's Picks - that would be fun surprise!
Thanks for the heads up on the Chinese Calligraphy! Fixed that stroke, so hopefully everything else is ok. :)
Thank you so much for the comment! Where in Canada is Saskatchewan? It sounds so familiar, my grandma's from Edmonton. Must be nearby?
Thanks for the feedback on my Love knot pattern.
Thanks so much for the welcome, Betta! It's great to see there are some other Canadian gals on here :)
Thanks again for all your great feedback on my Holiday Cheer. I've made lots of changes thanks to your and Dawn's input.
Thank you Betta for your kind comment. This is my first time entering any minted challenges and I am very excited.
Thank you very much for your comments, it's very kind of you :-)
Thanks!! :) I love your designs! The simplicity is lovely!
Thanks! Honestly I was surprised the farm one was chosen after all the favorable comments on the doula card (which was not and actually scored higher). You just never know! Loving your 3+ submissions by the way!
thanks for your comments.
Of course! It stood out to me because it's so original. Your changes look really good too.
Agreed. I was a bit hesitant with the letter/postcard theme especially, because I've seen it so many times, not just on Minted but on other design sites too! I even did another one myself, for a previous challenge! I tried to put my own twist on it. This is definitely a learning experience, almost like design boot camp! Also, I really dig your entries for this round, very cool. Your ring illustrations are awesome!
re: concert flyer: thanks for your comment Betta! I think your work is really original and always look forward to seeing what you come up with :)
Betta, thanks so much for catching my missing tab! Super nice of you to point that out!
Thanks for the encouragement! I have an advertising degree, not design so I started teaching myself Photoshop about 4 years ago for my job. Working on learning Illustrator, but its still going to take some work to be proficient!
If you don't mind sharing info, I really like the green floral pattern on the Diamond wedding invite and I was wondering where you get your images?
