Dear Customer,
From,
Thank you for the like Sheila!
Thank you for your comment on my "Wall of Inspiration" concept. I have been playing with the fonts and top section.
That's wonderful, Sheila, so glad I could help. I love your art prints by the way!
Hi Sheila, thanks so much for your support. -R
I have some other focuses I need to deal with so I did not do the fabric challenge. Plus this is out of my league. This is where I know too much and that trips me up. Sometimes I need to just forget about what I know and just do it. I have friends and a niece involved in textile design, the next time around I will get their advice and try not to feel intimidated by them. My biggest problem with Minted is adjusting my design style for this medium, my mind set is so corporate that it is causing me problems. I need to spend the time coming up with my own brand for Minted and get on with it. :D
I know what you mean, Minted totally distracts me from my real work! But the likes are so nice to give who can resist! You totally got the fabric challenge, not everyone did.
Hi Sheila, Thanks for the sweet words! I love your work too:)
Thanks for the love, Shelia! This is the first year all 5 of my kids are in school, so hopefully I can find more time to work & create! Honestly, I feel like I only stop when I'm sleeping. ;)
Great fabric entries! I can't wait to see how this challenge turns out!
Thank you so much! You are so sweet!
Thank you for your sweet comment ! I played around with this pattern for an hour and I love the result of it :-)
Ha, Sheila! I love that we can encourage & inspire each other! :)
Sheila- thanks for the kind words! You have such a unique eye & versatile style; I get happy whenever you like one of my designs! And of course, I'm popping over to see what new treasures you've been working on! ...Your fabric submissions? Are you kidding? I want every one of them!
What a great story!
Hi Sheila, I like your work and appreciate a good eye (yours) for shapes, textures, color and unique cropping. Your work is very graphic and does not fall into being pretty for pretty sake. What does the full red/white camper look like? Cheers! (ra@robinandrews.com)
and good luck!
Sure! :)
Thanks so much for your kind comments on my art prints!!! I appreciate it!
Cool. We are neighbors! I was in St. Charles just last week! We need to get together at some point. Maybe with other Minties in the western burbs. Happy Holidays!
Love your work and your kinds words. Have a great holiday! Cheers -R
You're welcome!
Thanks for your comment about my Map of New England design - no, it didn't win. But I think I am going to open an Etsy shop and sell some of my losing designs. It's nice to know that some people might want them!
hey sheila, nice to hear from you! you always manage to swoop in, do something great, scoop up a few awards and then hibernate for awhile! I am glad to hear you are doing well and are busy. Yes, life is full and I am happy about that! Trying to succeed in business takes a lot of work! Take care, Carol
Thank you Sheila for your sweet comment. Your Something Borrowed is one of my all time favorites! I think I need it for my apartment :)
Thank you for your comment about Edessa. You inspire me with your design!
funny, about the barber show. Where did you take it? was it in boston?
Thanks for your sweet comments! How funny that it didn't log you out all the way. I usually solve that by using two separate programs instead of windows. So I'll be logged in as myself on Chrome and then as my sister in firefox (sometimes she begs me to post for her lol). That way you also don't have to worry about remembering to log out :) That's also a pretty sweet deal getting to use your hubby's photo equipment. I'd so love to have a new camera right about now :)
Thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my design! You have such a creative approach to design, I'm very flattered by your sweet words : )
2more wins! Nice work, congrats!
Thanks!!!!
ha, ha, thanks lady!
Thank you, Shelia! Christmas is my favorite holiday!! White Christmas is my go to movie when I'm feeling upset and I always feel better by the end number!!
Thanks for the kudos, Sheila!
Congrats on your first win!!!
LOL - Thanks Emma - Just reading this now. Still getting the hang of how this works. You crack me up.
Hi TGS, your copywriting is great! You sound like you're giving up before you're even getting started. You can push and edit your designs as many times as you like in this phase. And from what I've seen of your work so far you have the chops to be a winner!
Love, love, love. These pieces are amazing and really combines a chic style with a sense of humor and flare. The personality and talent of this designer shines through in her work. It's really good stuff.
