I'm a UX Designer with a passion for print. I like to draw my inspiration from the Bay Area's rich diversity, natural beauty, and historic charm...not to mention the fabulousness here on minted! When I'm not designing, I enjoy being a mama to my seven-month-old daughter and two dogs, practicing calligraphy, and enjoying the outdoors with my family (especially SUPing with my husband!)

That sounds WAY too familiar...my life was starting to resemble 27 dresses with all the weddings...now it's a wave of baby showers...I know how it goes! I realized the other day that the only reason I have time to submit anything to the challenges is because I'm single and have the option to be a design hermit (night-owl/workaholic) if I'm inspired enough. Haha, I don't know how all of the Mintie moms do it!

On the Red Envelope invite: I think I like the darker background better...maybe somewhere in between? Either one is pretty, though. :) The leaves blend a little better on the darker color which helps the flower stand out.

Thanks for the nice comment! I love your designs. The Red Envelope layout works so nicely! I love how the leaves create a really nice depth of field. Not sure why I've been such a crazy hermit this week designing invites...I guess it's newbie enthusiasm...and the need to design something fun outside of the daily grind! Can't wait to see your next designs!
