made a few style changes so the bride and groom match stylistically... for better or for worse? (the design that is...)

The design is unique. I like the border of the card, matching the outfit of the bride.

So cute! I love love LOVE the changes!! my only super nitpicky thing would be that I'm not crazy about the "reception to follow" font. Maybe make it all lower case?

Thanks Kim and Debb for your feedback. Here's the revision... I added a yamaka instead. Thoughts?

Love the nesting dolls! Very cute. Have you tried bringing a contrasting color (like red or black) around the groom's face so it stands out more like the bride?

This is beautiful! Couldn't tell it was supposed to be a yarmulke, looks like a hood, but cute. I really like the border and the woven-looking white design on the grey part of the invitation. I don't think the man needs the gradient on his pants.

Yay, Brittany! This is a wonderful revision. Kim had the right idea, the pattern makes it!

Thank you Debb — I'm still not sure about the groom's attire or background, or if the veil is too much. I appreciate any suggestions!

I like the added borders and the groom's new duds! I don't think you need the veil or the groom's hat - I think they take away their stacking doll-ness, if that makes sense! I'm thinking they may look better standing upright (no angle) next to each other, intead of tilted away from each other - have you tried that? I like that they overlap, though!

Hi Brittany, maybe you don't need the veil because her beautiful attire is more than enough. I like his hat and striped pants, but the cummerbund is a just a little wide. Is there a traditional color to use for his shirt other than red? Maybe blue or green, to pick up the color in her dress?

Welcome to Minted, Brittany! LOVE your dolls! I don't feel like the background and text do them justice - I think the "together with" font is perfect! Have you considered using a 5x7 portrait format, and maybe the bride's dress pattern for the background (around the edges of the card), then simplify her dress a little? I think this is neat, but could be even better. Good luck to you!

Thank you Kim! I do agree that the text can be stronger...going to play with that a bit more and possibly put more emphasis on the first name. A 5x7 actually did cross my mind — and now that you mention it I think I'll try it as well as experimenting with the background :)

The bride is so detailed and the groom is so plain and bold, he could use a pattern or something to balance out that block of red.

Hi, welcome to Minted. I agree with Kim, this could be even better, especially after seeing what you've created with Red Envelope. And thanks for the comment, I appreciate your time! :)
