About the work

Collaboration with Erin McCluskey Wheeler Carrie’s Art Print Statement: Having the opportunity to create a collaborative collage with Erin is an absolute dream. I’m a huge fan of her work and the energy and freedom she’s able to harness through collage. Her beautiful papers include both subtle metallic bits along with pieces of her own collage work featuring painting beneath a vintage automobile image. Both the papers and Erin’s work inspire me to loosen up and push the collage composition to places I’ve never explored. I cannot imagine a more fitting way to express a fearless sense of optimism than teaming up with my fellow Mintie, Erin, to create a collage that’s a wonderful expression of both of us.
