The Out of the Box Award is presented to the artist with the most design-forward, innovative design that you would only find at Minted. Award winner Alisa Galitsyna is a Ukrainian-born artist currently living in Spain.
The Newbie Award is presented to the artist with the strongest design from a first-time entrant. Award winner Heather Karp is an abstract painter and illustrator; she lives just north of Boston, Massachusetts.
The Creative Risk Award is presented to the artist with the best submission in a category they have never had a Minted win in before. Award winner Kamala Nahas is a photographer and artist based in Ventura, California.
