Hi J&J, thanks for your lovely message. I just finished voting on the personal stationery challenge, I am always surprised at how energy it takes to review so many entries. Every time I vote I understand more about how much I am in over my head. I think did way too much corporate identity design in my career to loosen up enough for Minted customers. I am going to work on my freehand skills and get better at using cheery colors. I am going to also try and make sure every design submitted has a concept, no, I like it because it is pretty stuff, even if it means I never get a 'win'. At this point in my life, doing good work is all that matters to me . . . okay, no not really, I like to win at least some of the time. I look forward to seeing more of designs in the next challenge. Hi gals, I know how you feel. I am also finding my way around the Minted design process. I feel like I have made many missteps, my biggest problem is moving away from my authentic design self to fit into the Minted way of designing and working. It is driving me nuts. So I am trying to back off and go back to my design roots. I must say that seeing your work has saved my sanity. I love your work and the way you stay (at least as far as I can tell) authentic to your true design selves. I love your work and your way of thinking which is very clever and fresh. The Minted editors keep asking us for fresh new designs and quite honestly I don't know what this means to them. Please feel free to contact me at ra@robinandrews.com anytime.
