Dear Customer,
From,
Hello Andres, I recently join minted and really admire your work. I just submitted for the Quick Fire Challenge and I feel unsure about the type. I love how you use type in all of your designs. It's all fabulous. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated. Best, Franklin.
Hello Andres, I was admiring all the incredible designs here, such as yours. Great work!
Andres- You people who actually work at Minted crack me up! You should be able to make edits for a little while before voting starts. My files are still editable. Jody thought the deadline was yesterday. She scared me to death!
Hey Andres~ Thanks so much for your feedback on my work, especially your comment about myTone- it couldn't mean more coming from such a great designer like you :) thanks for taking the time to comment!
Clarissa, hi! So far i haven't used clip art in ANY of my designs. If you've been in design for a while you can tell the difference between clip art and original illustrations. Clip Art is defined as "images taken from pre-existing printed works for use in other publishing projects." I create what I use. A silhouette of a baby or guitar that I created is much different than the "clip art" of an vintage elephant or mid-century pattern taken from an image source.
You mentioned that you are not a "big fan" of clip art. But you use it in your designs. What's up with that? <a href="http://www.minted.com/design-rating&id=4220"><img src="http://www.minted.com/files/content/designs/5330_4a00935657ffd.jpg" border="0"><br/></a>
Hi Andres. Thanks for all of your comments and suggestions! I took your advice and redid the chair on my moving invite, so let me know if you think it works better. Your work is fantastic!
One other question...on your graduate announcement with guitar (very cool) was the background texture done in Photoshop or Illustrator. Just curious. Thanks, Amy
Hi Andres, Thanks for the comment on Chandelier. The image was created from a brush I have in Photoshop. Love your work! Amy
