Thank you Sara for your suggestions! I did end up making a last minute adjustment to my sea lion, getting rid of the speech balloon. I think it works a lot better that way, and also helps distinguish it from my woodpecker design (where I think the speech balloon works much better): http://www.minted.com/design-rating/103944
