About the work

Continuing my fascination with the universe and the heavenly bodies it oysters, I conceived a rendition a ‘Journey of the souls’. It’s a depiction, an aftermath when one answers the call of the universe and ventures into the unknown. It’s a new beginning, where every soul carrying a reflection of the universe within it, floats about the great vastness life, trying to find a purpose, a meaning; encircling, pivoting, pulling and tugging to reach the ultimate reality, a predestination a new existence. A place of much mystery, a place where meaning comes to life. 'Journey of the souls' is one from a set of two art prints I produced to capture my imagination of the night sky, the other one is ‘Peephole’.
