About the work
This is a mirror image of the popular print Flamingo Road. When hung together the flamingo's will face one another. Flamingo's will forever remind me of my youth and the ever popular Christopher Cross album. Using bold gestural lines for the tail and a softer watercolor approach to the bodice, I wanted to capture the essence of this exotic bird. This original watercolor painting puts a modern spin on the iconic Flamingo. Perfect for all ages and adding a pop of color to any room.
