About the work
I wanted to create a piece that was simple and type based but conveyed a surf theme. The distressed frame mimics the crashing of waves and the painted typography creates an organic, hand-painted look. This is a wonderful piece for a kids bedroom but could also work in a hip, West Coast interior.
