About the work

I recently came across a bracelet my mother bought for me on a trip to Kenya many years ago. The bracelet is constructed from wire and intricately woven, brightly covered beads. This piece is inspired by this bracelet. The dots and lines form geometric shapes that when connected make the finished product a thing of timeless beauty. I hope this print brings similar beauty into your home!

Christine's designs are characterized by their playful yet elegant hand drawn motifs and modern, minimalist pattern composition. Christine received her MBA from the University of Michigan and worked in marketing before leaving to follow her passion for all things design. She completed her Master of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and launched Christine Joy Design shortly after.
