About the work
Nature is often the source of inspiration for my art, and orchids are one of my favorite subjects. In this piece the form of the petals bring to mind wings of a butterfly. The orchids appear to be taking flight. The soft violet background complements the soft white petals of the flowers. This image is serene and relaxing.

I graduated from UCLA School of Medicine and began my career as a physician in diagnostic radiology. Photography became my creative outlet and way of relaxing.
