About the work

During one of my photography trips to Paris I took numerous photos of the much photographed artist village Montmartre but with the beautiful flower boxes in the windows it inspired me to create this acrylic over canvas photo print painting. The photo was printed in b&w on canvas and then acrylic paint applied over to accent certain parts of the painting and finished with a varnish to add depth and luster.
