About the work
This adorable little polar bear cub is one of three in a set of small animal illustrations. Each illustration is hand-drawn, and an exercise in a layered style of illustration that I have been interested in developing. I really enjoy the mix of texture and color and the resulting depth created. A whimsical top hat gives this baby bear a dapper look for any time of year.
