About the work

I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I had many pets and was always wanting more. As an adult, I like to crochet stuffed animals and enjoy designing my own characters. When it came time to make the birthday party invitation that later inspired this art print, I was excited to illustrate a panda in the style of my stuffed animal characters. After the invitation was complete, I turned the design into this children's art print featuring the letter P.
