About the work
This art piece was inspired by the quiet of the night and the illumination of the moon. When it is dark out, the sky is clear and moon is full everything feels magical. The moon illuminates the world in such a way that everything has a pearlescent feel. I wanted to capture that magic in an abstract painting that can be interpreted in many different ways.
