About the work

A fight between contrast. A battle of hues. A war on color. This artwork is an expression of the thoughts that are not spoken and kept hidden inside for a long time. I was inspired with the contrast of cherry blossoms and dark old woods but instead of painting cherry blossoms I've decided to but cotton candy instead to add that much light and softness in contrast with the dark and hard wood. This is the first part of a three piece painting that I've created.
