About the work

"The Escape" is inspired by the non-conformists. Layers of fugitive colors upon unbleached whites. Geometric shapes balanced by clouds of sponged on gesso. Daubs of pure pigments, over symmetrically aligned bricks of paint. You can change the orientation of this piece to suit your perspective. (The artist is partial to a 90 degree clockwise rotation)
