About the work
My "September Trees" watercolour has been inspired by my travels in Ireland. The Irish landscape can be wild and rough. But on this warm September day it showed me its softer side, and just had to capture the dreamy atmosphere of the forest and the way the hills faded into the haze, showing the first signs of autumn. I hope this atmospheric art print will bring a beautiful nature vibe and a peaceful feeling into your home.

Which then led to surface design, and then illustration. And it set my life on a different path … nowadays I work from my small but cozy home studio in the beautiful Lahn River Valley. I love to sketch and paint outdoors and I call our rooftop garden and the valley itself my second and third workplace.
