About the work
This photograph was taken on a hike along the White Cliffs of Dover, a gorgeous section of the English coastline that faces the Strait of Dover and France. A narrow path leads through tall grasses and wildflowers, while a fierce ocean wind brings the smell of salt water. The vibrant blues of the ocean and sky blend together, creating a beautiful contrast with the crisp white of the cliff face and the fresh greens and yellows of the vegetation. This print is part of a larger body of photographs that capture moments of stillness.

My work is influenced by my architecture training, the laughter of my two sweet daughters, the vibrancy and sunshine of my hometown Los Angeles, and my time spent living in Italy, Barcelona, London, Costa Rica and Rwanda.
