About the work

During one of my photography trips to one of the greek islands, Santorini I took numerous photos of the much photographed gorgeous white buildings with the blue doors and windows it inspired me to create this acrylic over canvas photo print painting. The photo was printed in b&w on canvas and then acrylic paint applied over to accent certain parts of the painting and finished with a varnish to add depth and luster.
