So much line drawing with a pencil and experimenting, that is it! In this composition I worked with a bowl drawing depicted using a brush pen, in plain black and white, and digitally collage it over an acrylic painted paper. The figs were a different brush pen drawing, also originally in black and white, and also digitally collaged over some acrylic painted paper. Both pieces were than put together and composition and color were object of another round of experimentation. For me it was right when I felt the playfulness of the piece, it looked yummy as a good bowl of figs in the summer. Simple and plenty.

    byBethania Lima

    Montevideo, UY

I am a surface designer. I am Brazilian, lived in Chile in the last 10 years and have just moved to Uruguay. I am passionate about pattern, colour and design. After 20 years working in a completely different area back in my country, I grabbed a relocation opportunity to take the plunge and go after my passions, facing the ups and downs of a freelance career. None of this would have been possible without the great support of my lovely family and friends. Thank you for visiting my store!
