About the work
This is part of a series about summer lines, shapes, and colors. It is part of a larger work exploring memories and summer landscapes. This particular piece is about the magic of lake life. In the Northeast there is something special about traversing through the dense green woods and suddenly seeing the lake emerge. It is unlike the vast ocean of my youth and presents an intimacy. The swimming dock is central to a good lake life.
