About the work

This piece illustrates the action of repairing your own emotions. Sometimes they are soft and other times they are rough and bleed out. Eventually one must heal from within and not rely on placing a bandaid on pain. This painting was made with the finest materials including watercolor, sumi ink, soft pastel, and acrylic. The surface is mixed media paper.
