About the work
This piece is inspired by an evening spent along the Amalfi coast of Italy, dining in a tiny seaside restaurant while the sun went down and lights started to illuminate all along the coast. Shades of deep royal blue, teal, and purple sparkle with light pops of bright color. The style of painting is somewhere between an abstract composition and a traditional landscape.
