About the work

This illustrated palm frond is a study in cool shadows and the hot sand and sky of the Ionian islands of western Greece. A gradient filled blue line of the palm leaf with a flat yellow shadow on a soft pale pink background. In a series of three, Palm Study #1, #2 and #3.
