About the work
I collect and save my sketchbooks, found photographs, bits of drawings, and my daughter's preschool art. I put together colors and textures I like and then cut out the best parts. I draw and paint over the collaged papers to edit out and highlight the colors and forms. This is part of a larger piece and looks great as a diptych print with it's mate, Pinks and Greens.
