About the work
I was inspired by my son running and blowing bubbles in our yard, watching as they float off into the sky. This print has a calming effect with the soft blue tint. It makes me think about the innocence of this popular children's activity and the beautiful orbs it creates.

Mary Ann is a Visual Artist living in Southern Louisiana. Growing up she was surrounded by the eclectic environment of New Orleans and a backdrop of swamps, and sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast. Mary Ann is strongly inspired by the diverse environment of the Gulf Region, the uncommon beauty of urban landscapes and a wide range of subject matter depicting life in New Orleans. Mary Ann's favorite way to share her artistic vision is through photographic prints, and acrylic and mixed media paintings.
