About the work

Watercolor painting of a family of mountain gorillas relaxing among fresh green leaves. These gorillas are part of a larger series of watercolor African animals and would look beautiful alone or with other prints from the series. I'm always inspired by the natural world, and particularly the varied wildlife found on the African continent, and aim to capture the flora and fauna in watercolor, my favorite medium for its perfect imperfectness.
