About the work

I stumbled upon this unexpected patch of trees while on vacation near the Chesapeake Bay. The trees stood so straight and tall, and grew so close to each other that standing at the edge of the forest truly seemed like standing at the entrance to another world. I wanted to capture that feeling of deep mystery with my camera. .
