In the foreground the grasses and plants have flowers dotted between them, leading up to a tree that shades a part of the path that cuts through the field. Because the path is high up there is no background other than the vastness of the clear blue skies.

-The areas where oil sticks were used were treated several times with a special fixative to keep it in place;

Lottie Aldarwish paints from her studio overlooking the ocean in Nova Scotia, Canada. She loves the effect that colors and artwork have on a space and is eternally inspired by how different colors and shadows play out against each other. She's passionate about using natural materials and loves the feel of painting on wood.
