This paper collage is one of a series where my primary interest is in exploring colors, light or textures of various times of the year. This particular piece has more to do with textures and colors of our winters in the Hudson Valley in upstate N.Y. I go through a long process of painting or marking the sume papers, which then get treated with a resin. Once I've cut and assembled the piece the entire composition is hot ironed which fuses the papers together.
