About the work
I was inspired to create an art print that has a vintage storybook feeling to it. I love the idea of a sweet mama duck with her babies, so I decided to create a pond scene with the swimming ducks. I included flowers and plants in cheerful colors, but contrasted the lighter floral and water colors with a dark background.
