This is a paper collage made with sume paper painted with gouache, colored inks and pencil. *dimensions: 12"x12" with approx. 1/2" border around the image * unframed *ships in a sturdy envelope from upstate N.Y. * ships between one to three business days of order * artist signature on the back This collage is one from a series where I'm interested in exploring the colors, patterns and textures of nature according to season. This one "March" is indicative of new yellow greens just starting. The process of making these pieces are in distinct stages: first I will paint or mark/draw on the sume paper, then treat the paper with a resin, then cutting and assembling, once composition is complete the whole piece is hot ironed which fuses the papers together.
