My process of creating art always centers around what colors call to me. In this case, the colors of my childhood spoke to me (yes, I’m “vintage”) -warm ochre, russet brown and a variety of rose hues. As the shapes arranged themselves, a sense of cascading colors, ones almost tripping over the other made me think of the memories I have of this time - a sense of melting, warm, easy times; a flow of fun and golden sunsets of my California upbringing. I hope this piece will remind you of easy times, a sense of flow - this is “Color Fall.”
