About the work
Inspired by sons and their friends who love collecting bugs, I made an art piece they would want to hang on their wall to inspire them on their bug hunts. I love when they find a bug and their attention is captivated - they notice the smallest things and have such interesting insights on why these little creatures are the way that they are. I hope to find that kind of wonder in my own everyday moments of discovery.
