About the work
Creating abstract compositions of cut tissue paper is my favorite medium to capture the essence of mid-century modern style while also infusing a youthful, sophisticated twist through the use of a humble material. In "tissue taking flight," the converging and overlapping simple shapes felt like feathers blowing in the wind.
