About the work

I captured this photo in Chicago in the spring, right when the swings opened at the beginning of the season at Navy Pier, one of Chicago's many attractions. I always loved riding these swings as a kid because they brought me a sense of freedom and happiness. Looking at this photo as an adult, I feel like life moves freely and that things aren't permanent.
