About the work
For the past few years I have been going to a local airshow. The first year there, I was completely captivated by the planes overhead and have continued to go back ever since to watch the planes dance in the sky. This plane, a P-51 Mustang, flew over me a number of times. On this pass it was flying upside down and I was so determined to get a great shot of it in flight, I didn't realize that until I got home and became to go through my images for the day. To say I was thrilled to see this image would be an understantment!

I consider myself a storyteller and a photographer. While I am formally trained in film, I let my heart lead me to use my camera and vision to tell a story. I love creating beautiful images, preserving memories and making art. I believe every image has the ability to evoke an emotion and convey a story. Sometimes the stories jump out at me, sometimes I have to create it. My joy comes from spending time with my husband Jay, our pup Rosie, looking for new stories to tell.
