About the work

I find inspiration all round me both from my travels and at home. No matter where I go gardens seem to pull me in and hold my attention. In making this painting I hoped to bring a little bit of those gardens inside with me like a window to nice summer days! I love using bold colors that make you feel the full energy of the subject, especially with florals.
