I have always been fascinated by colorful buoys spotted everywhere in coastal towns. They come in so many shapes and a mix of bright hues, but to me their real charm is in the signs of wear that reveal their histories as functional objects. Each one has a story to tell. This piece is part of a set of four coordinating buoy stamp illustrations.
