About the work

This bohemian folk style bird painting was inspired by my friend, who after seeing me post several floral pieces on instagram, asked me if I ever paint birds. Birds have never been anything that I lean towards drawing, but that day I stepped out of my comfort zone and painted something new. And voila!!!!

    Hey, I'm Jen (nice to meet ya!). I lovvvve to draw whimsical florals and play around with unexpected color palettes. I've also recently begun to experiment with hand-lettering and it's a new found love of mine. When I'm not working on my art, I enjoy playing board games and card games, exploring antique malls, hanging out with family and friends, and date nights with my husband. We're blessed with two incredible, talented, fun-loving kids.
