About the work

A beautiful butterfly perched and waiting on a bright green blade. I took this photo at the California Academy of Science in San Francisco. I love how it looks so calm and serene despite being in a rather chaotic surrounding. The moment this butterfly takes off it will flutter back into the chaos.
