This painting is of a house that sits so serene, looking out at the bay that leads to the Atlantic Ocean. I was inspired by the New England coastline, so I created a scene of simplicity and depth with this composition. The painting gives off a feeling of warmth, which is captured in the broad brushstrokes. These strokes also help to create a soft, simple feel.
